• Clear the work area – Walk around your home and remove anything that could get in the way: outdoor furniture, grills, planters, toys, garden tools and vehicles. The cleaner the space, the quicker and safer the job will be.
   
• Protect your landscaping – Cover delicate plants and flower beds with plastic sheets or tarps and secure the corners with rocks or bricks. Lightly water your plants first; moisture reduces the chance that cleaning solutions will stick to leaves.
   
• Unplug or cover electrical items – Turn off and cover outdoor electrical outlets and remove extension cords. Make sure any exterior lighting fixtures and vents are protected and out of the spray zone.
   
• Check doors and windows – Close and latch all windows and doors, and ensure screens and weatherstripping are in good condition. This prevents water intrusion during washing.
   
• Safeguard people and pets – Keep children and pets indoors or away from the work area until the job is complete.
   
• Ensure water access – We’ll need to hook up to your outdoor spigot; confirm the hose works properly and the faucet is turned on.
   
• Special instructions for roof cleaning and soft washing
   
  • Before we arrive, run your sprinkler system or hand‑water the landscaping around your home for about 30–40 minutes to fully hydrate plants and soil.
     
  • During the service, our technicians will continue rinsing vegetation to keep it wet.
     
  • Immediately after cleaning, run your sprinklers again to flush away any residual roof mix or cleaning solution.
     
  • For the next 5–10 days, water your lawn and plants more frequently than usual. Continuous hydration dilutes any remaining chemicals and prevents browning or leaf burn.

Soft washing relies on a biodegradable cleaning solution and a low‑pressure spray (typically under 300 PSI) to gently remove dirt, algae, and moss from your roof. Our technicians apply the solution, allow it to dwell for about 15–20 minutes to break down organic growth, and then rinse it away using the same low pressure. Because we’re using chemical action rather than brute force, we’re able to kill algae and mildew at their roots and keep them from quickly coming back.

High‑pressure water, typically 1,500–3,000 PSI, is great for concrete or metal surfaces, but it can harm most roofing materials. On asphalt shingles, high pressure can dislodge the protective granules, causing premature deterioration. Clay or concrete tiles can crack under excessive pressure, and water can be forced up under the roofing material. Industry experts advise against pressure washing roofs for these reasons. Soft washing avoids those risks and is gentle on shingles, tiles and other delicate surfaces.

During peak seasons (spring and fall), schedules fill quickly.  We recommend booking two to four weeks in advance.  However, we often accommodate urgent requests—call us to check availability.
