Yes. Professional roof cleaning is often recommended before exterior painting or renovation projects to prevent roof runoff from staining freshly painted walls, trim, or other exterior surfaces later. As a safety precaution, roof cleaning should only be performed prior to painting, or only after all paint has fully dried and completely cured. We recommend allowing a minimum of 30–45 days after exterior painting before scheduling roof cleaning to ensure all painted surfaces—including siding, trim, doors, fences, railings, and other exterior features—are fully cured and safe from exposure to roof cleaning solutions.
Mr. Bubble Wash is not liable for damage or discoloration to recently painted surfaces that are not disclosed prior to roof cleaning services. It is the homeowner’s responsibility to notify us of any newly painted or sensitive areas before service. These guidelines apply to all painted exterior surfaces, not just walls, and help prevent staining, discoloration, or paint failure.
